The programs of the parties in these elections have tried to bring some of the basic elements of the concerns that the country has, while the environment is not one of the priorities. Compared to the socio-economic problems of our country, the environment has always been under the primary priorities of the country.

The environment is what for many other countries has turned out to be the limiting factor for the economies of countries. If it is exploited without criteria, if it is damaged, the economy will suffer. So, the resources that we can still use today, we may not have tomorrow and we will either import them or we will be left without them.

Seen from the perspective that the environment is a prerequisite for development, it must be treated with due care, as we treat all other resources of the country.

Recently there has been talk of the country’s emigration and, of course, the flight of Albanians abroad will create a major economic problem, because it is a social problem that is happening today, but the same will happen with the environment tomorrow. So, if we use water resources, if we destroy rivers, if we destroy the Albanian coast, it does not make sense to talk about tourism tomorrow.

Although there has been considerable progress towards renewable sources: Solar energy parks that have been contracted or are under construction are a progress, but the country needs to be more aggressive in this regard, because renewable energy sources are gave me.

Regarding this issue, the part of energy efficiency, thermal insulation of dwellings should be looked at very carefully, because in a way it is the energy gained from the savings made to it.

Particular attention should be paid to the preservation of the country’s natural resources, which constitute a kind of opportunity for economic development. Especially when we talk about tourism development, we must look at those models of tourism development that do not affect the progress and development of the environment, including land.

We feel that there is very little development in the conservation of these resources, as for example, in our legislation, the transposition of European legislation on the sea has not yet begun, while we are talking about the blue economy; transposition for the flood directive has not started, while the country is at high risk of flooding. Certain flooded areas directly affect the population, soil, and health of that country.

If we will not see him as an environmental expert, but on the part of the political parties the environment remains a beautiful backdrop to beautify the program, it is a cosmetic of the program rather than an obligation of the parties to be seriously involved in taking measures to improve the state of the environment where there are problems or in the long run for sustainable use of the environment.

The use of water resources, the destruction of rivers, or the Albanian coast is not the new site we want to give to the environment, society or even talk about tourism tomorrow.
