This publication is a resource material for teachers to use on the issue of climate change and the Kune Vain lagoon system. It has been prepared in the framework of the “Climate Change Awareness Campaign and the Advantages of an Ecosystem-Based Approach in the Kune-Vain lagoon”, a project implemented for over three years, 2017-2019.

The purpose of this project is to increase the capacities of the government and local communities living near the Kune-Vain lagoon system to adapt to climate change as best as possible by applying approaches based on the natural principles of this ecosystem itself.

The national and local awareness campaign aims to increase the capacity of the Albanian government, but especially the local communities living near the lagoon, to adapt to climate change through adaptive interventions, including ecosystem-based adaptation.
